NEW INNOVATIVE PALLIATIVE CARE INFO

Ottawa – April 21, 2011

 Communityi Care Access Centre (CCAC)  has launched Alavida Palliative Care Info Site which provides information on Palliative Care services in the Champlain region including how and when to access them.  Rather than providing clinical information, this site is intended to help patients, families and heath care partners to find the right services and when.  The services are of benefit to any patient with a progressive incurable illness of advanced stages of heart, lung, neurological and kidney diseases amongst others and is not only for the terminally ill.
