ME/FM Action Network Grant Proposal to Federal Government (HRDC) - Relating to Social Development Partnerships Program - Disability Component
Dear Friends
The National ME/FM Action Network has submitted an application to the federal government for funding under a disability program. We have asked for the maximum amount available - $250,000 a year for 2012-13, 2013-14, and 2014-15. If our application is approved, the money will be used to raise public awareness of disability issues facing Canadians with ME/FM and to encourage discussion about disability and disability services within the ME/FM community.
You can read the full application on our website.
You can help us by
-contacting your Member of Parliament (preferably within the next week or two – before Labour Day),
-letting him/her know that you support this application, and
-gently asking him/her to send a note of support to the Minister responsible.
